We had a fun Easter with one exception. That was the day Brady got sick enough to vomit for the first time. Poor kid was terrified - he didn't understand what was happening :( As a parent, nothing worse to see when you look in the eyes of your child and see that terror. I think he cried more because he was scared than because he was sick, but nonetheless, made the last 1/2 of our a day a little less fun. Up until that point, had fun - first holiday we hosted at our house and I think I even pulled off a good meal :)
After Easter, the 10 of us in my family (mom, dad, Brad, Sara, Grant, Dylan, 3 of us, and my Grandma) headed out to the little town of Wilton, ND to celebrate Gram's 90th birthday. We had to postpone our plans from the weekend of her birthday due to the flooding issues going on in the FM area. Everyone had a good time - including Gram who wasn't so keen on a party in her honor to begin with. The boys had a blast in the pool at the hotel!
Dylan, Brady & Grant
Other than the pool, jumping on the beds and running from room to room seemed to be the next most enjoyable by the boys. This pic - not sure how it came about, but the boys decided they were riding a choo-choo train . . . upon closer inspection, you'll see that Brad had the pleasure of being the choo-choo :)
I particularly love this pic - cuz it shows just how ridiculously alike Brad & Sara's 2 boys look! We all think you can definitely tell they're brothers - but there's something about the way their heads are turned and those smiles that enhances it a TON!
